KABUL -- At least 25 people were killed and 52 wounded after three consecutive explosions rocked outside a school in western part of Kabul, capital of Afghanistan on Saturday, the capital police confirmed.

"The latest figures found 25 martyred and 52 wounded were transported from today's incident and the toll and number of wounded may change," Basir Mujahed from capital police told reporters via a text message. (Afghanistan-Kabul-Explosion)

TEHRAN -- Iran reported on Saturday 13,576 new COVID-19 cases, taking the country's total infections to 2,640,670.

COPENHAGEN -- A survey conducted in 53 countries has found that 44 percent of people around the world deem the United States a threat to their democracy.

Out of the 53,000 people polled across 53 countries, 44 percent of the respondents considered U.S. influence on their country to be a "threat to democracy," according to the survey conducted by Latana in partnership with the Alliance of Democracies, which was founded in Denmark by former NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
