German stocks open higher

BERLIN, May 14 (Xinhua) -- German stocks were off to a good start on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index growing by 102.06 points, or 0.67 percent, opening at 15,301.74 points.

The biggest winner among Germany's 30 largest listed companies at the start of trading was sportswear manufacturer Adidas, increasing by 1.19 percent, followed by reinsurer Munich Re with 1.09 percent and automotive supplier Continental with 1.07 percent.

Shares of Delivery Hero fell by 2.16 percent. The German online food delivery company was the biggest loser at the start of trading on Friday.

The yield on German ten-year bonds declined 0.0030 percentage points to minus 0.1150 percent and the euro was trading almost unchanged at 1.2083 U.S. dollars, increasing by 0.01 percent on Friday morning. Enditem
