TUNIS, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Ministry of Health said on Thursday that pharmacists, biologists, occupational physicians and free practice physicians are authorized to perform rapid COVID-19 tests.

A written report containing the results and a code is required to prove the validity of the test, the ministry said in a statement.

The laboratory units under the health ministry have issued technical recommendations to health professionals for performing the rapid tests, and the test's price should not exceed 20 Tunisian dinars (7.2 U.S. dollars).

Tunisia on Wednesday reported 2,102 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total infections in the country to 360,285, while the death toll from the virus rose by 103 to 13,229. Enditem
