Singapore reports 13 new COVID-19 cases, 62,276 in total

SINGAPORE, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 13 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country on Sunday, including 10 locally transmitted and three imported, bringing the total tally to 62,276.

All of the local cases were community cases. Among them, eight were linked to previous cases.

On Sunday, 31 more recovered patients were discharged from hospitals and community isolation facilities, bringing the total number of recoveries from the coronavirus epidemic to 61,869 in the Southeast Asian country.

There are currently 130 COVID-19 patients being treated in hospitals. Of them, one is in critical condition and held in the intensive care unit.

Meanwhile, 243 people who have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19 are being isolated and cared for at community facilities.

The COVID-19 related death toll stands currently at 34 in Singapore. Enditem
