TASHKENT, June 23 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan plans to introduce a series of anti-corruption measures from January next year, a draft presidential decree said Wednesday.

The document, drafted by the Uzbek Ministry of Justice, proposed to create an open online register of persons convicted of corruption crimes, which will be maintained by the country's Anti-Corruption Agency.

Along with other measures, people who are included in the list will be banned from receiving state awards and holding positions in public or state-controlled organizations and institutions.

The document also proposed to introduce a system of compulsory declaration of income and property of civil servants, heads and deputies of state-controlled organizations, enterprises and institutions, as well as income and property of their family members starting from Jan. 1, 2022.

Uzbekistan set up an agency in 2020 to combat corruption and announced that it will reward its citizens 65 to 544 U.S. dollars for reporting corruption. Enditem
