JAKARTA, June 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Indonesia's eastern Maluku province on Thursday, the meteorology and geophysics agency said here.
The quake rocked at 9:24 a.m. local time, with the epicenter at 238 km northeast of Maluku Barat Daya district and the depth at 344 km under the seabed.
The agency did not issue a warning for tsunami as the quake did not potentially trigger giant waves. Enditem
