LONDON, July 9 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 1.30 percent, or 91.22 points, to close at 7,121.88 points.
EVRAZ, a multinational vertically integrated steel making and mining company, soared 5.45 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. BHP Group and Anglo American increased by 4.34 percent and 4.27 percent, respectively.
Just Eat Takeaway, an online food order and delivery service, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 4.29 percent. Rentokil Initial, a business services company, dropped 1.36 percent. B&M European Value Retail, a British variety store chain, fell 0.66 percent. Enditem
