FRANKFURT, July 14 (Xinhua) -- German stocks closed almost unchanged on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 0.66 points, or 0.0042 percent, to close at 15,788.98 points.
Siemens Energy, the energy division of Siemens Group, lost the most among the blue chips, falling 1.75 percent. Deutsche Boerse group and energy group RWE shed 1.12 percent and 0.98 percent, respectively.
European health care company Fresenius SE won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.05 percent. Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and automotive supplier Continental added 1.55 percent and 0.97 percent, respectively.
Automotive manufacturer Volkswagen was the most-traded share with a turnover of 180.73 million euros (213.48 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, gained 1.47 percent to close at 1.742 euros per share on Wednesday. Enditem
