NAIROBI, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Faith Ogallo is not a household name in Kenya or among the elite taekwondo athletes around the world but that has not inhibited her mission to make her name at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Ogallo, who spoke on Wednesday ahead of wrapping her final training before leaving for Japan, expressed delight at reaching this far and being ready to compete for the first time at the biggest multi-sport event in the world.

"I will do light training in Tokyo on arrival and when I get in the main arena where the competition will take place, I believe I will give my best for Kenya," Ogallo said in Nairobi ahead of her trip to Japan.

Kenya was first represented in taekwondo at the Beijing 2008 Games where the late Dickson Wamwiri and Milka Akinyi took part. Enditem
