LONDON, July 15 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Thursday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 1.12 percent, or 79.17 points, to close at 7,012.02 points.
Avast, a leading cybersecurity company, soared 18.13 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Experian and Prudential increased by 2.45 percent and 1.64 percent, respectively.
Just Eat Takeaway, an online food order and delivery service, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 9.11 percent.
