FRANKFURT, July 15 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 159.32 points, or 1.01 percent, to close at 15,629.66 points.
Energy division of Siemens Group Siemens Energy lost the most among the blue chips, down by 11.09 percent, followed by semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and manufacturing and electronics company Siemens, which lost 2.51 percent and 2.49 percent respectively.
Energy group E.ON, multinational chemical firm Linde and housing association Deutsche Wohnen were the top three winners, rising 1.06 percent, 0.73 percent and 0.19 percent respectively.
Siemens Energy was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 297.81 million euros (351.68 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 0.17 percent to close at 1.739 euros per share on Thursday. Enditem
