TRIPOLI, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Turkey is willing to provide support for hospitals and medical centers of Libya, said Turkish Ambassador to Libya Kenan Yilmaz Wednesday.

During a meeting with Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush, the ambassador said Turkey is willing to provide all the needs of Libyan hospitals, medical centers, and COVID-19 isolation centers, according to a statement issued by the Libyan Foreign Ministry.

Mangoush expressed his gratitude to the Turkish government for its rapid response to the call for assisting Libyan hospitals and medical centers, particularly with their fight against COVID-19.

A Turkish medical team, which comprises a number of officials, physicians, and medical specialists, arrived in Libya a few days ago to visit a number of hospitals and medical centers and review their needs. Enditem
