PORTO ALEGRE, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- Colombian striker Miguel Borja scored on his Gremio debut as the Porto Alegre club came from behind to beat Chapecoense 2-1 in Brazil's Serie A championship on Monday.
Anselmo Ramon put the visitors ahead with a low fourth-minute strike before Alisson Castro equalized by thumping home a long-range effort 14 minutes later.
Borja converted from the penalty spot on the half-hour mark after he was pulled down by Derlan Bento in a one-on-one duel inside the area.
The hosts defended resolutely thereafter to secure just their second win in 13 matches this campaign.
Luiz Felipe Scolari's men remain 19th in the 20-team top flight standings, six points clear of Chapecoense, who already look destined for relegation. Enditem
