KABUL -- The Taliban did not want to have any internal or external enemies, and intended to form an inclusive government in Afghanistan, a Taliban spokesman said here on Tuesday.

At its first press conference since the Taliban's takeover of most parts of Afghanistan on Sunday, the group's spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said they do not want any internal or external enemies, and they want to have good relations with everybody to develop economy and achieve prosperity. BAGHDAD -- At least 18 militants from the outlawed Turkish Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed on Tuesday in an airstrike by a drone near the town of Sinjar in northern Iraq, a Kurdish security source said.

The airstrike took place in the afternoon when a Turkish drone bombed a school building used by PKK members as a clinic in a village near the town of Sinjar, some 100 km west of Nineveh's provincial capital Mosul, Luqman Gally, commander of the Kurdish Peshmerga security forces in the area, told Xinhua. LOS ANGELES -- Two people were seriously injured and hospitalized Tuesday after a wildfire burning in El Dorado County in California devastated an entire town with about 1,200 residents.

Local KCRA 3 news channel reported Tuesday afternoon that two people from the Grizzly Flats area approached firefighters in the morning and were transported by air to a local hospital. (US-California-Wildfire)

LUSAKA -- Zambia's general elections held last week has resulted in the country having a hung parliament, with neither of the country's two major parties having absolute majority, an expert said on Tuesday.

According to a list of elected lawmakers after the Aug. 12 polls, the United Party for National Development (UPND) managed to get 81 seats while the Patriotic Front (PF) got 63 seats. (Zambia-Parliament)

TIRANA -- Albania's Defense Minister Niko Peleshi said on Tuesday that the severe wildfires that have affected several parts of the country since mid-July have burned around 3,000 hectares of land.
