SAN JOSE, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas has returned to Costa Rica's squad for World Cup qualifiers against Panama, Mexico and Jamaica, the country's football federation said on Thursday.

The 34-year-old has not played for Los Ticos since March because of a series of injuries, including a shoulder problem that kept him out of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Gold Cup in July.

Fellow veterans Celso Borges and Bryan Ruiz were also named in manager Luis Suarez's 28-man squad, which includes several teenagers.

Among them is 17-year-old midfielder Jewison Bennette as well as 19-year-old forwards Manfred Ugalde and Kenneth Vargas.

"This is a squad with experienced players who can help to mould the younger ones," Suarez told reporters.

"It was difficult for me to make this list because there are a lot of players to choose from, and that's very good news. I need a team that is intense, but also that is intelligent, and what you want is to call people who adapt to that situation."

Costa Rica will visit Panama on September 2 before home matches against Mexico and Jamaica on September 5 and 8.

Following is the Costa Rica squad:

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas (PSG, France), Leonel Moreira (Alajuelense) and Aaron Cruz (Deportivo Saprissa).

Defenders: Oscar Duarte (Levante, Spain), Juan Pablo Vargas (Millonarios, Colombia), Kendall Waston and Ricardo Blanco (Deportivo Saprissa), Keysher Fuller (Herediano), Giancarlo Gonzalez and Fernan Faerron (Alajuelense), Francisco Calvo (Chicago Fire, USA), Bryan Oviedo (Copenhhaguen, Denmark), Ronald Matarrita (Cincinnati, USA).
