BRATISLAVA, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Striker Jonas Older Wind scored twice to help visiting FC Copenhagen beat Slovan Bratislava 3-1 in the UEFA Europa Conference Group F opener here on Thursday.

The third-ranked team of the Danish football Superliga now leads the Group F standings.

The visitors took the lead on their first shot on goal in the 18th minute when Wind flashed into the box with a nice header on a corner kick.

Three minutes later, Slovan Bratislava's Nigerian striker Ezekiel Henty levelled the score, also with a header on corner kick, pleasing the 10,000 fans at the Tehelne Pole stadium.

Copenhagen retook the lead late in the first half after stripping the home team off the ball in the midfield and finished a two-on-one breakaway with an easy goal by Jens Stage.

Slovan's efforts of tying the game got crushed in the 68th minute when the referee pointed toward the penalty spot after Jaromir Zmrhal fouled on Kevin Diks in the box. Wind scored with ease on the subsequent penalty, setting the final score to 3-1. Enditem
