FRANKFURT, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 158.21 points, or 1.03 percent, to close at 15,506.74 points.
Deutsche Bank won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.86 percent. Automotive manufacturers Daimler and BMW gained by 3.80 percent and 3.22 percent respectively.
Publicly traded meal-kit company HelloFresh, multinational e-commerce company Zalando and Siemens Healthineers were the top three losers among the blue chips, down by 2.58 percent, 2.23 percent and 2.00 percent respectively.
Deutsche Post was the most-traded share, with a turnover of 288.42 million euros (338.29 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, rose 1.87 percent to close at 1.518 euros per share. Enditem
