SEOUL, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Price for goods and services among South Korean suppliers kept rising for 10 straight months due to higher farm goods price, central bank data showed Friday.

The producer price index (PPI) stood at 110.72 in August, up 0.4 percent from the previous month, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).

It continued to gain for 10 months since November last year on the back of expensive farm goods.

The producer price for agricultural and livestock products advanced 2.1 percent and 1.0 percent each in August on a month basis.

Price for industrial products among suppliers added 0.4 percent last month on higher price for chemical and primary metal products.

Services price among suppliers rose 0.3 percent in August from a month earlier on higher cost for transport services and the eatery and lodging services. Enditem
