FRANKFURT, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 325.32 points, or 2.09 percent, to close at 15,248.56 points.
Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies lost the most among the blue chips, down by 5.89 percent, followed by sportswear and equipment maker Adidas and European multinational aerospace corporation Airbus, which lost 4.25 percent and 3.56 percent respectively.
Material manufacturer Covestro, automotive manufacturer Daimler and chemical group BASF were the top three winners, rising 1.51 percent, 0.57 percent and 0.14 percent respectively.
Daimler was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 396.93 million euros (463.53 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 0.36 percent to close at 1.444 euros per share on Tuesday. Enditem
