FRANKFURT, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index down 104.25 points, or 0.68 percent, to close at 15,156.44 points.
International pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier Sartorius lost the most among the blue chips, down by 6.11 percent, followed by manufacturing and electronics company Siemens and multinational E-commerce company Zalando, which lost 2.97 percent and 2.62 percent respectively.
Energy group E.ON, housing association Vonovia and marketplace organizer for the trading of shares and securities Deutsche Boerse group were the top three winners, rising 1.91 percent, 1.70 percent and 1.60 percent respectively.
Automotive manufacturer Daimler was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 279.02 million euros (323.66 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 1.01 percent to close at 1.476 euros per share on Friday. Enditem
