JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said on Tuesday that he will fly to Sochi on Oct. 22 to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss Iran.

The two will discuss a range of political, security and economic issues concerning the two countries, and important regional issues, "primarily the Iranian nuclear program," the statement read. (Israel-Russia-Iran)

TRIPOLI -- Libyan authorities on Tuesday recovered 25 unidentified bodies from five newly discovered mass graves in the city of Tarhuna.

Located some 90 km south of the capital Tripoli, Tarhuna was once the eastern-based army's main military operation center during the war against the former UN-backed government in and around Tripoli. (Libya-Mass Graves-Bodies)

BEIRUT -- The investigation into the Beirut port blast was suspended on Tuesday after two former ministers facing charges filed a new legal complaint against the lead investigator Judge Tarek Bitar, the National News Agency reported.

The former ministers' legal complaint came a few minutes after Bitar issued an arrest warrant for former Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil, who did not show up for questioning. (Lebanon-Beirut Explosion-Arrest Warrant)

TEHRAN -- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said on Tuesday that Iran's actions "will be commensurate with the steps of other parties" in future talks aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear deal.

He made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Swiss Speaker Andreas Aebi, during which they discussed bilateral ties and multiple international issues, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry's website. (Iran-Switzerland-Talk) Enditem
