BEIRUT -- At least two were killed and several others were injured in a shooting in Lebanon's capital Beirut, al-Jadeed local TV channel reported on Thursday.
The incident happened during a planned protest by supporters of Hezbollah and Amal Movement against Judge Tarek Bitar who is investigating the case of Beirut port explosions. (Lebanon-Shooting)

ASADABAD, Afghanistan -- A Taliban official was killed and 11 people wounded when an explosion hit a Taliban security forces' vehicle in Asadabad, capital of eastern Afghanistan's Kunar province, on Thursday, a provincial source said.
"The blast occurred near a bridge in Karhali locality of the town in the morning. Abdullah who served as the Taliban's police chief for Shegal district in Kunar lost his life in the incident," the source who declined to be named told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Explosion)

WASHINGTON -- Finance ministers from the Group of 20 (G20) major economies on Wednesday endorsed "the final political agreement" to revamp international corporate taxation, ensuring that multinational firms pay a fair share of tax around the world.
