BAGHDAD -- The Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) on Saturday announced the full results of the country's snap parliamentary elections, showing prominent Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr's party taking the lead.

KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysia reported another 7,509 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight Saturday, bringing the national total to 2,384,542, according to the health ministry.

LIMA -- Eight people were killed and more than 20 others were injured after a bus collided with two vehicles on Saturday in the southern department of Arequipa, Peru, local media reported.

The bus, belonging to the company Tuti Tours, was coming from the province of Caylloma when it lost control and collided with two other vehicles, Radio Programs of Peru cited the National Police as saying. (Peru-Bus accident-Casualty)

WELLINGTON -- New Zealand reported 53 new cases of COVID-19, said the Ministry of Health in a statement on Sunday.
