RABAT -- The Moroccan navy rescued 310 illegal immigrants from Oct. 16 to 18 off the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts, the Moroccan news agency MAP reported Monday.

LONDON -- Another 49,156 people in Britain have tested positive for COVID-19, marking the largest daily rise since lockdown rules ended in England three months ago, according to official figures released Monday.

PARIS -- The French Foreign Ministry said on Monday that its ambassador to Belarus Nicolas de Lacoste had returned to France on Sunday, following the unilateral decision of the Belarusian authorities demanding his departure.

TEHRAN -- Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi said Monday that Washington should show its seriousness on the revival of the Iran nuclear deal by lifting anti-Iran sanctions.
