JERUSALEM -- Clashes broke out between Israeli police and Palestinians outside East Jerusalem's Old City on Tuesday night.

Israeli police said in a statement that Palestinians "rioted" and hurled stones at buses near the Old City's Damascus Gate, adding some 22 Palestinian suspects were arrested. (Israel-Palestine-Clash)

TRIPOLI -- A group of more than 100 European tourists on Tuesday visited Libya for the first time since the 2011 uprising that toppled the former regime.

JERUSALEM -- Israel said on Tuesday that the Abu Dhabi crown prince invited Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett for the first official visit in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

"The UAE Ambassador to Israel Mohamed Al Khaja presented Bennett with an invitation from Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi, for an official visit to the UAE," said a statement from Bennett's office. (Israel-UAE-Visit)

CAIRO -- Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed on Monday a number of regional issues of mutual interest as well as bilateral relations.
