India's overall exports, including merchandise and services, are estimated to be 369.39 billion U.S. dollars in April-October 2021, exhibiting a growth of 39.83 percent over the same period last year, and up 19.97 percent over April-October 2019, added the statement.

Commenting on the trade data, president of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) A. Sakthivel said the monthly exports performance signifies the importance of opening up and further recovery of economies across the globe coupled with buoyant order booking position across sectors.

"This has not only added positive sentiment for exports but has also further enthused the exporters to perform with much more vigour and zeal thereby achieving the 400 billion U.S. dollars merchandise exports target in the current fiscal," said the FIEO chief. Enditem
