Mongolia adds 777 COVID-19 cases, 10 more deaths

ULAN BATOR, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia recorded 777 new COVID-19 cases and 10 more related deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the respective tallies to 376,935 and 1,846, the country's health ministry said Thursday.

The latest confirmed cases were all local transmissions, most of which were reported in the country's capital Ulan Bator, it said.

Currently, there are 30,579 active COVID-19 cases across the country.

So far, around 2.24 million people, or 66 percent of Mongolia's population, have received two COVID-19 vaccine doses, among whom 533,123 people aged over 18 have got another booster shot.

The health ministry said at least half of the population is supposed to receive a booster. Enditem
