Blast kills 1, wounds another in Afghanistan's Takhar province

TALUQAN, Afghanistan, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- One person lost his life and another sustained injury as a blast struck a car in Warsaj district of the northern Takhar province on Tuesday, a provincial government official Ainudin Mutmahin said Wednesday.
The blast, according to the official, took place on Tuesday evening on a road in Warsaj district killing one person and injuring another. Both the victims are service members of district administration.
Similarly, unknown armed men gunned down a former security personnel identified as Taj Mohammad in Baladuri area of Pul-e-Khumri city, capital of northern Baghlan province Tuesday evening, locals said.
In the meantime, Spokesman for Kabul police General Mubin has confirmed that a sticky bomb targeted a van in Qawai Markaz area of Kabul city on Tuesday afternoon, injuring two. Enditem
