AMMAN, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Wednesday held talks with his visiting Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto, focusing on means to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as the latest regional and international developments.
They stressed keenness on activating efforts to expand cooperation in various fields, including economic, investment, educational, cultural, tourism, medical and defense sectors, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The two ministers reviewed regional development, especially on the Palestinian issue, where Safadi stressed the importance of joint efforts to avoid any illegitimate procedures that undermine the two-state solution.
Safadi also called for the international community to continue offering aid to refugees.
Szijjarto said that his country is keen on developing its bilateral ties with Jordan and continuous cooperation in facing the COVID-19 pandemic and offering technical assistance in this regard. Enditem
