VIENTIANE -- In order to better meet the socio-economic development along the China-Laos Railway and the logistics needs of enterprises, the Laos-China Railway Co., Ltd. (LCRC) has recently held an online promotion meeting for its transportation service.

The LCRC, a joint venture based in Lao capital Vientiane in charge of the operation of the railway's Lao section, told Xinhua on Friday that it hopes the meeting will help local enterprises' development and better act its role in railway logistics services. (China-Laos-Railway)

NEW DELHI -- Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to India on Dec. 6 for the 21st India-Russia annual summit with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India's Ministry of External Affairs said on Friday.

NEW DELHI -- India will resume international flights on Dec. 15 after suspension of over 18 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, media reported on Friday.

However, 14 countries will be barred from international flights to and from India, including Britain, France, Germany, Singapore, Botswana, Netherlands, Finland, South Africa and Brazil. (India-COVID-19-International Flights)

BANGKOK -- Thailand has received more than 100,000 international visitors after exempting quarantine for fully-vaccinated visitors this month, with the monthly arrivals equaling the combined number of the first 10 months of the year, an official said Friday.

To attract tourist arrivals, the country will further ease entry requirements for fully-vaccinated international travelers on Dec. 1 by replacing the on-arrival RT-PCR test with a much cheaper and faster antigen test, according to Natapanu Nopakun, an official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. PHNOM PENH -- The 13th virtual Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Summit concluded on Friday under the chairmanship of Cambodia, adopting three outcome documents, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen said.
