BUENOS AIRES, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Boca Juniors' hopes of a top-four finish suffered a blow on Saturday when they drew 1-1 away to Arsenal Sarandi in the penultimate match day of Argentina's Primera Division.

Juan Ramirez gave Boca the lead just before the interval but Bruno Sepulveda equalized with a close-range finish 15 minutes from time.

Boca now have 38 points from 24 matches and trail fourth-placed Velez Sarsfield by a point with one game left in the season. Arsenal remain last in the 26-team standings with 20 points.

Meanwhile, Talleres Cordoba tightened their grip on second place with a 2-1 victory at Sarmiento.

Jonathan Torres put the hosts ahead with an early goal before Diego Garcia and Jose Romero struck either side of halftime as Talleres clinched their 14th win of the season.

Alexander Medina's men now have a five-point lead over third placed Defensa y Justicia, who have a game in hand.

In other fixtures on Saturday, Huracan won 1-0 at home to Racing Club, Rosario Central drew 2-2 at Lanus and Godoy Cruz were held to a 2-2 home draw by Platense. Enditem
