MEXICO CITY -- More than 40 people died and dozens were injured after a fuel truck exploded in northern Haiti, media and officials said on Tuesday.

BUDAPEST -- Seven people have died and four were injured in southern Hungary when a minivan carrying illegal refugees overturned close to the Serbian border on Monday night, according to police reports.

The accident occurred on Monday around 11:40 p.m. local time (2240 GMT) in the town of Morahalom, some 170 km south of Budapest. The vehicle crashed into a flower shop as its driver, who was of Serbian nationality, refused to stop for a police check and tried to leave the scene at high speed, said the police. JAKARTA -- A 7.4-magnitude earthquake jolted off East Nusa Tenggara province in central Indonesia on Tuesday, damaging over 230 houses, a bridge and buildings, Indonesia's weather agency and a disaster official said.

A minor tsunami was detected after the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency issued a tsunami warning, but it was lifted two hours after the quake as there was no major tsunami identified, the agency's head Dwikorita Karnawati told a press conference. (Indonesia-Earthquake)

WINDHOEK -- Namibia will become home to the Africa Millimeter Telescope (AMT), which will be the first radio telescope in Africa that is sensitive to millimeter wavelength radiation, the University of Namibia (UNAM) announced on Tuesday.
