Brunei logs 4 new COVID-19 cases, total at 15,474

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported four new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the total tally to 15,474.

According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, the newly recorded cases included three local infections and one import case.

As of Dec. 30, 94.5 percent of Brunei's population had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines, while 93.3 percent had completed their vaccination schedule of two doses and 21.2 percent had received three doses.

A total of 96 active cases are still being treated and monitored in Brunei and 100 patients have passed away so far in the country. Enditem
