SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi militia said they seized a "military" ship of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Red Sea off the Yemeni port.

"The UAE ship carries military equipment and entered the Yemeni regional waters without permission," Houthi military Spokesman Yehya Sarea said in a brief statement aired by the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV.(Yemen-Houthi-UAE ship)

TEHRAN -- The Iranian Foreign Ministry said Monday that the E3 group of France, Britain and Germany as well as the United States have realized that they have to quit their "maximalist demands" in the talks on the restoration of the 2015 nuclear deal.

"If we have a common text today, it is the result of the Western sides adopting a more realistic approach in the Vienna talks and realizing that they cannot have demands beyond the scopes of the nuclear deal in the ongoing negotiations in the Austrian capital," the ministry's spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh made the remarks in an address to a press conference.(Iran-Nuke Talks-Demands)

TEHRAN -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned on Monday of Iran's revenge for the U.S. assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in case those involved in and behind the "criminal act" are not prosecuted through a just mechanism.

Raisi made the remarks in an address to a large gathering of Iranian people in Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosalla to mark Soleimani's second martyrdom anniversary, according to the official website of Iran's presidency. (Iran-Soleimani-Revenge)

TRIPOLI -- Libya's House of Representatives, the parliament, urged on Monday the High National Elections Commission to propose a new date for the presidential election as soon as possible.
