BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported 16 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total tally to 15,532.
According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, the newly recorded cases included 15 local infections and one import case.
As of Jan. 4, 2022, 94.6 percent of Brunei's population had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines, while 93.5 percent had completed their vaccination schedule of two doses and 23.8 percent had received three doses.
A total of 100 active cases are still being treated and monitored in Brunei and 101 patients have died in the country. Enditem
