Brunei logs 28 new COVID-19 cases

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported 28 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the total tally to 15,825.

According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, the newly recorded cases included 24 local infections and four import cases.

As of Thursday, 94.7 percent of Brunei's population had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccines, while 93.7 percent had completed their vaccination schedule of two doses and 31.8 percent had received three doses.

A total of 330 active cases are still being treated and monitored in Brunei and 102 patients have passed away in the country. Enditem
