KHARTOUM -- The armed clashes among tribal groups in the Kirainik area in Sudan's West Darfur State renewed on Sunday, according to local authorities.

No official reports on the casualties were released, but informed sources said at least 15 people have been killed, dozens wounded, and hundreds of houses burned in the recent clashes that started on Friday. (Sudan-Tribal Conflict-West Darfur)

TUNIS -- At least 12 migrants have lost their lives and another 10 went missing after four boats carrying 120 migrants sank off Tunisia's eastern coast, Tunisia's private radio station Mosaique FM reported Sunday.

JERUSALEM -- The Israeli foreign minister said on Sunday that Israel is "committed" to the status quo that bans Jews from praying at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, the focal point of recent clashes in Jerusalem.

SANAA -- The first commercial flight scheduled to depart Yemen's Houthi-held capital airport in six years has been delayed indefinitely amid accusations between the country's warring sides.
