JAKARTA -- One person was killed and five others were wounded as an oil refinery operated by Indonesian state owned oil-and-gas firm PT Pertamina caught fire in Balikpapan town of East Kalimantan province on Sunday, a rescuer said.
The accident occurred at 11:00 a.m. local time, and the victims were the workers of the firm and a contractor company, Head of Search and Rescue Office in East Kalimantan province Melki Anuskotta said. (Indonesia-Fire-1st LD Writethru)

ISLAMABAD -- The Pakistani military said on Sunday that six people including three soldiers were killed in a suicide blast in the country's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
In a statement, the military media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the suicide blast occurred in the vicinity of the Miranshah area of North Waziristan district of the province, killing three security personnel and three children between four to 11 years. (Pakistan-Blast)
