ISLAMABAD -- At least three people were killed and 10 others injured in two separate road accidents in Pakistan during the last 24 hours, local media reported Monday morning.

According to the reports, one person was killed and 10 others were injured after a passenger bus collided with a truck on a national highway in Khuzdar district of Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province. (Pakistan-Road Accident)

COLOMBO -- Sri Lankan Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera on Monday assured the public of adequate fuel in the country soon.

In a statement on his Twitter page, Wijesekera said that with the arrival of a diesel cargo on Sunday and three fuel vessels in the near future, adequate fuel will be made available nationwide.

SUVA -- Over 12,000 Fijians have died in the past two years due to non-communicable disease-related complications, according to the Ministry of Health.

CANBERRA -- Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has denied his change in attitude on the election campaign trail has been driven by poor poll results.
