MINSK, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Belarus has bought Iskander missile systems and S-400 air defense systems from Russia, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said here Thursday at a meeting with the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia.
According to Sputnik News Agency, the leader of Belarus said that the Belarusian army has become "completely different" and can inflict "unacceptable damage" on potential adversaries with these weapons.
On May 10, Lukashenko said that Belarus planned to keep the Russian S-400 air defense systems and Iskander missile systems, which were deployed on its territory during the Allied Resolve 2022 joint military drills with Russia in mid-February. Enditem
