ISTANBUL -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with leaders of Sweden and Finland on Saturday, urging the two NATO applicant states to address Turkey's security concerns.

SANAA -- Yemen's Houthi rebels said on Saturday that they shot down a "spy drone" of the Saudi-led coalition that supports the Yemeni government in the country's civil war, accusing the coalition of violating the ongoing truce.
"With a surface-to-air missile, our air defense shot down the drone that was hovering over Hayran district in the province of Hajjah in violation of the truce," Houthi-run al-Masirah TV quoted the rebels' military spokesman Yehya Sarea as saying. (Yemen-Truce-Violation)

TEHRAN -- The Iranian foreign minister said Iran is serious about reaching a strong and lasting agreement in the Vienna talks on the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal, noting that Tehran has the goodwill and required determination to this end, the Iranian foreign ministry's website reported on Saturday.

BAGHDAD -- The Iraqi Ministry of Health said on Saturday that up to 90 cases of viral hemorrhagic fever (VHF) have been registered in Iraq, including 18 deaths.
"There has been a serious increase in the VHF cases in Iraq recently, and the number of registered cases could rise further if some other suspected cases are confirmed," the ministry's spokesman Sayf al-Badr said at a press conference. (Iraq-Hemorrhagic Fever-Case) Enditem
