KABUL -- Unidentified people blew up three power pylons in the northern Samangan province, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported on Monday.

The pylons connecting Uzbekistan's imported electricity to other provinces of the country were blown up in the Qadamgah area of Khulm district on Sunday night, the news agency said. (Afghanistan-Power Pylon)

SEOUL -- South Korea's dependence on intermediate goods imported from China surged over the past 10 years at a faster pace than Group of Seven (G7) countries, a report showed Monday.
