Kaleyn, Raffaeli win double gold each at European Rhythmic Gymnastics C'ship

JERUSALEM, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Bulgaria's Boryana Kaleyn and Italy's Sofia Raffaeli shared the gold medals in the four apparatus finals at the closing day of the 2022 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Tel Aviv on Sunday.

Raffaeli won the clubs and hoop competitions, while Kaleyn took the gold in both the ball and ribbon finals.

Raffaeli also finished as runner-up in the ball competition, while the other three silver medals were won by Israeli Daria Atamanov, who was crowned champion of the all-around competition on Saturday.

Italy won gold in the two apparatus group finals, the three ribbons and two balls, and the five hoops competitions.

On Saturday evening, Israel won the all-around group competition, while Italy scooped the silver medal and Azerbaijan took the bronze. Enditem
