HONG KONG -- For more than two years, Hong Konger Au Ka-ki has not traveled to Shenzhen for weekends as she used to before the COVID-19 pandemic. But she is still able to buy a cup of milk tea from her favorite mainland drink brand at a shop nearby.

CANBERRA -- Younger and educated voters were instrumental in the Labor Party's victory in Australia's general election, research has found.

Labor Party leader Anthony Albanese claimed victory in the general election on May 21, ending the conservative coalition's nine-year hold on power.

KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysia reported 1,690 new COVID-19 infections as of midnight Sunday, bringing the national total to 4,540,612, according to the health ministry.

There are 10 new imported cases and 1,680 local transmissions, data released on the ministry's website showed.
