World Bank's Anshula Kant to attend meetings in Zambia

LUSAKA, June 27 (Xinhua) -- World Bank Group Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer Anshula Kant is expected in Zambia this week for a series of meetings, the country's finance ministry said on Monday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Finance and National Planning said the World Bank official will be in the country to hold high-level talks with the government as well as visit some of the projects funded by the bank.
During her visit, she will be accompanied by officials from the bank as well as officials from the International Development Assistance, the statement added.
The visit comes a week after International Monetary Fund Deputy Managing Director Antoinette Sayeh visited the southern African nation for a series of meetings. Enditem
