AMMAN, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Wednesday met with his Omani counterpart Badr Busaidi in Amman, discussing ways to strengthen ties and the latest developments in regional affairs.
They looked into ways of bolstering bilateral relations and proceeding with all measures to increase cooperation in the implementation of the directives of the two leaderships, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The two sides also discussed the latest international and regional developments, issues of common interest, especially the Palestinian cause, and efforts put in to resolve the Syrian and Yemeni crises.
The two ministers also agreed on enhancing joint action against shared challenges.
They added that coordination over regional issues is ongoing to overcome challenges, maintain security and stability and enhance regional cooperation in service of Arab nations' interests. Enditem
