ISTANBUL -- The Turkish foreign minister said on Thursday that the Russian-Ukraine grain corridor deal could boost trust between the two sides if implemented properly.

RAMALLAH -- The Palestinian envoy to the United Nations said on Thursday that Palestine is "making all possible efforts" to obtain full UN membership to protect the two-state solution.

TEHRAN -- The removal of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) from the U.S. sanctions list was not and is not Iran's precondition in the talks aimed at the reviving the 2015 nuclear deal, Mohammad Marandi, an advisor to the Iranian negotiating team, said on Thursday.

The West said that the IRGC's removal from U.S. terror designation list is a prerequisite for Iran to reach an agreement, but "it was not and is not the case," Marandi, also a professor at the University of Tehran, said in an interview with the Jamaran news website. (Iran-US-Nuclear Talks)

TEHRAN -- Iranian police have arrested five members of a "spy network" linked to Israel, the official IRNA news agency reported on Thursday.

The intelligence organization of the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran, commonly referred to as Iran's national police, announced the arrest of the five people, describing them as "the leader and members of a spy network" affiliated with Israel.
