MADRID, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Spanish La Liga clubs Real Sociedad and Valencia appear to have resolved their problems in attack just three days before the transfer window closes at midnight on Wednesday.

Real Sociedad have confirmed the return of Norwegian striker Alexander Sorloth on a season's loan from RB Leipzig.

The 26-year-old scored eight goals in 44 appearances for the Basque club last season and proved to be a useful target man, and his return will help compensate for the loss of Swedish international Alexander Isak, who on Friday joined Newcastle for a fee of around 70 million euros.

Speaking after his return to Real Sociedad, Sorloth said that ever since the end of his first season on loan, he had hoped to be able to go back.

Edinson Cavani is also on the verge of a move to Valencia. The former Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain forward flew into Valencia on Monday to take his medical leave with the club.

"I wanted to play in Spain and I wanted to be here. Valencia have made an effort to sign me and it is what I want," said the Uruguayan on his arrival at Valencia airport.

Cavani is likely to replace fellow Uruguayan Maxi Gomez, who is on the verge of completing a six-million euro move to Turkish side Fenerbahce. Enditem
