RAMALLAH -- Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Ishtaye on Wednesday called on the United States not to block Palestine's bid for full membership in the United Nations.

TRIPOLI -- The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) on Wednesday urged all Libyan parties to refrain from violence and actions that may undermine the north African country's peace.

TEHRAN -- The Iranian foreign minister demanded on Wednesday "a stronger text" from the United States over its guarantees of lifting sanctions in order to reach an agreement to revive the 2015 nuclear deal, official IRNA news agency reported.
