MADRID, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona was hit with another setback on Wednesday as right back Hector Bellerin will be out for the next three to four weeks after injuring his left calf muscle.

The club confirmed the injury to the former Arsenal defender, who returned to Camp Nou this summer, explaining that "his progression will determine when he is available." However, Bellerin looks set to miss this weekend's visit to Mallorca, as well as the 'Clasico' against Real Madrid and two vital Champions League clashes with Inter Milan.

The news comes after Jules Kounde, Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong and Memphis Depay all suffered injuries while on duty with respective national teams.

Although De Jong should be available next week, Kounde will be out for a couple of weeks and Depay a month.

Araujo had a successful operation on his right abductor in Finland on Wednesday morning and will be out of action at least until the World Cup in Qatar. Although Uruguay coach Diego Alonso has said he will give the 23-year-old defender every chance to travel to Qatar, the most realistic date for Araujo's return to fitness is the start of 2023.
